Beijing 2011: The Forbidden City

walaupun cuaca sejuk bangat, redah aje.
tour guide kami, Tony, kata cuaca on that day will be between -2C to 4C aje.
Yg 4C tu pun, if nasib baik la. if tak... 2C je paling tinggi.

Anyway, bila masuk Forbidden City tu, memang.... words failed me.
the size, the designs, the history... all very colourful & beautiful.
suggested time to spend there: minimum 2 hours.
dari pintu depan ke pintu belakang, almost 1 kilometer.
so you may think, 1 kilometer 2 hours?
ha le... campur nak membelek building, nak amek gambau...
tu pun kitorang tak visit bangunan sampingan.
if visit, Tony kata... 4 jam Tuan-tuan dan Puan-puan
(Tony memang orang Beijing tapi dia tau cakap Indonesia)

Post yang dah sebulan lebih tertangguh...ish ish ish...

We went to Beijing 16-22 December 2011. Cathay Pacific with a transit at Hong Kong.
Giler besau airport tu... penat berjalan from our arrival gate to our next departure gate.
Anyway, we were sent to KLIA by my bro-in-law who kebetulan balik Malaysia kejap.
And then, baby Nash yang shentong itu pun ada... suke mak aku dapat jumpe cucu dia ;-)

last night, a close friend of mine (more like a big brother) lost his mother to diabetes.

aku kenal kawan ni, dah lama. since 1995. yup, tahun aku start keje.
kenal masa sesama buat Dip.Ed kat Shah Alam.

anyway, he rang me at about 11.10pm which was very unusual because he never calls me late at night. anyway, i did not expect anything bad la. just the normal, maybe dia nak mintak tolong something.

when i answered the phone, he bagi salam and asked if i'm already asleep to which i said, belom. tengah siapkan keje sket. so he laughingly ( rasa nye macam gelak) said, keje pun bawak balik rumah ke...

then dia citer la dia dah bawak anak dia check mata tengahari tadi (i knew he went to GH that afternoon sebab masa dia nak pegi tu, aku terserempak dengan dia)... so aku pun cakap, ooooo.

then dia cakap, mak aku masuk ICU ahad lepas... aku tekejut la. and terus tanye how is she.

dia diam 4-5 saat pastu cakap, ni yg nak bagitau kau. mak aku baru meninggal jap ni tadik.

terpelanting henpon aku. dalam kepala, apsal la mamat ni tak terus cakap mak dia meninggal awal-awal... dia leh citer dulu bende lain.

come to think of it, mungkin dia nak reduce sedih dia before dia gitau aku. sepanjang aku kenal dia, susah nak tengok dia sedih. dia sentiasa ceria... kalau dia marah pun, jarang dia tunjuk.

anyway, pas dapat tau tu, aku terus upload news tu kat facebook. then baru aku sms a few other friends about this. esok nye aku bagitau yg lenlain including bos-bos. i knew he may not be able to call ramai orang sebab dia of course busy nak uruskan urusan arwah mak dia. dan instinct aku betul sebab later dia bagitau one of bos kami, dia memang call aku sorang je dgn harapan i will tell the rest about the news.

so around 9.15am kami reramai gi kampung dia (dalam 1/2 jam from our work place) to visit. fyi, i was never good at talking to people who have just lost their love ones. so bila berdepan dengan dia tadi... memang said a few words je kat dia.

his mother was buried before Zohor. Semoga roh arwah dikumpulkan bersama orang-orang beriman... Al-Fatihah.

an annual sports meet among the 6 KPMs and 4 KMs. For Fasa 3 which involves futsal and bowling, we have been selected to be the host college.

NOK MITOK TIANG GOL BARU KAT PADANG KAPPUNG

Sebab ambe tulih surat hok dok wape comey eh ke ketua kappung pasa nok mitok tiang gol baru. Bukang nape, tiang gol lame orh teruk ngak, ngok ngek orh, kalu kambing gessek skek aser reboh tiang gol orh. Ekpong tiang tu kat due puluh taung doh.

Bukang nok maroh eh, nok kabo je, cer tengok kappung laing, tiang gol baru lake, lawo pade tiang seri umah ketua kappung agi orh. Tekang gop, doh orang kappung laing wak nyenyeh je ke kappung kite. Malu boh... Tu arh ambe nok mitok jase baik ketua kappung wak keluo bajek skek, beli tiang gol hok baru. Nok hok bese-bese je, akmboh hok maha, kekgi kene curi lop.

Gitu arh, bukang nok nawwok, wak sembang pung dop. Kalu dop caye gi arh nengok. Aser aser lawo tiang jambang umoh Mek Semoh nuh dari tiang gol orh. Bereh arh deh? Aser aser minggu depang ader doh tiang gol baru ork? Arap eh...
