Bagaimana ye...?

Teringat kata-kata Datuk Hassan Din Al-Hafiz minggu lepas;
mereka yang kaler rambut, bagaimana mereka solat dan mandi hadas?

Selamat Pengantin Baru Koq & Lisa

After driving class, I went to Syukur’s wedding reception. Since it was already late, most of the guests had already left.

tapi…nasib baik Koq tak salin baju pengantin dia lagi…
so sempat la bergambar dengan ‘adik” ku itu…

hensem kan…
hehehe

Anyway, sempat juga ketemu dengan Adam Roslan, ex-Presiden LDP SPM 97. 10 tahun tak jumpa dia. He’s married with 2 heroes; Aqil & Amar.

Anyway, to Koq & Lisa, Selamat Pengantin Baru. Thanks sebab personally datang jemput saya aritu. Memang hepi sesangat dapat tau Koq nak kawin. Becoz he's such a shy person!

Koq... Lisa...may your marriage last till eternity.

after 3 hours practise pun masih…
kelam kabut.
hadoi la…

Missing my PDRM friends...

The thing I miss the most about my department in PDRM is... how "noisy" and cheerful we were, especially when both Miah's were in a "heated" albeit friendly arguments. Kak Reha always laughing and cheerful; Alina and Sue with their "manja-ness"... Farid, the only thorn among the roses, Kavitha although an Indian lady but speaks immaculate Bahasa (aku pun tak terer BM macam dia...hehehe), kak Lenny who is also much like kak reha...always cheerful, Mimi...garang dalam lemah-lembutnya, Ros...kecik2 cili padi nye...not forgetting kak Lia (now in KM Kulim), kak Umi (now in MRSM Kubang Pasu), kak June (in MRSM Pasir Salak), Kak Sally (BPS HQ), Zura (BEK HQ), Annies (MRSM Kubang Pasu)....

Our annual English Camp is always an event we look forward too, besides the Minggu Bahasa la...hehehe.... Cameron Highland, Langkawi, Muar, Beseri...and many other places that we went to, simply bond us closer.

of course, the makan-makan a.k.a potluck also did the same thing. Simple macam mana pun lauk yang dibawak, bila makan reramai...jadik sodapppp sesangat!

I hope one of these days I'll be able to visit PDRM and my friends. To at least do one more "laungan" from one end of the dept to the KJ's cubicle. Kak Lenny, all the best...depa nakal kalu, "balun" ja....hehehehe.

Yeah, maybe I will visit them... tapi kene tunggu dapat krete dulu la... and most importantly.... lesen!!! hehehehe... Azam 2009. To get my lesen and black MyVI SE.

...Remember...

Remember; spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.

Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side..

Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent..

Remember, to say, 'I love you' to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you.

Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.

Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

Udin's "diploma" convo took place last 1st December 2008.
Unfortunately I was unable to attend as I had to attend a 5-day course in KL that week.
Anyhow, congrats bro... he graduated with a CGPA of 3.68 and is currently doing his 2nd year EE degree at UiTM Shah Alam.

And as a graduation gift, i gave him this...

CJ7 dolly

The CJ7 “doll” my youngest brother gave me when I was in the hospital for my ACL surgery. It now hangs next to my dresser.

Sireh Kadok

For the first time in my life, I had the chance to eat…well, I don’t recall its exact name, but let’s call it “sireh kadok”.

For lunch today, the whole Jabatan Pengajian Am went to Kings & I cafĂ©, owned by King’s Hotel, Melaka. We chose to have their 4-course “Thai lunch-set”. We were also given a small glass of lemongrass (serai daa…) juice (each) as a welcome drink… After a few sips, I decided that I …don’t like the taste.

Anyway, the starter was that sireh kadok item. Since no one has ever eaten it, our waitress-in-charge willingly obliged to help us with the course. First she folded the leaf into a cone, then she filled it with one or 2 bits of each condiments and finally, a spoon of its gravy. Then, eat it all in one go...

the taste?

YUMMMMMYYYYYYYYYY......!!!

(don't worry, it won't make your lips, mouth or spit red)
